About pulsstory



You can use pulsstory even, when you don't have heart rate monitor.
Below you can find basic information about portal functionalities:
Pulsstory is a tool for recording activities but also a place where societies form around couches, sport clubs, fitness club, teams, events, or charity campaigns.
In pulsstory, you may belong to many societies

If you already have joined a society, indicate the society (choice from a list) that you want to be logged in each time you enter pulsstory
how to do it:
in main menu go to SET -> ACCOUNT and choose your default club in the second tile called "YOUR ACCOUNT"

If you want to use a heart rate monitor, enter names in pulsstory activities that correspond to activities in your device.
how to do it:
go to settings and in the first section from the bottom called "DISCIPLINES RECOGNITION" and assign names as in instruction

If you use other portals (eg. endomondo, garmin connect, strava, others) - you may synchronize them with pulsstory account so the history of your trainings and future activities (registered using these websites) - will be imported automatically to pulsstory
how to do it:
go to settings and enter the credentials that you use to login to other accounts in the 4th tile called "SYNCHRONIZE ACCOUNT WITH OTHER WEBSITES" and select automatic synchronization.
Remember to save your data!
go to calendar and click the icon "import trainings from other websites"
We know the hardest is to make to the end
so to make the achieving of your goals easier we enable you to set the detailed target
You may set your target in many categories::

Open training edit page
You may do it in 2 ways:
MAIN MENU > ADD > ACTIVITIES MANUALLY
using bubble on the CALENDAR

Fill in activity details:
If you enter all the required data, calculator will compute your average heart rate and heart beats count. Use the Calculate icon to compute this rate.
If you have more information about an activity, you may enter more details like: route, cadence, excercises, nutrition, description

In main menu select SET - HEART RATE
Enter your maximum heart rate - you can use "220 minus your age" formula to estimate it)

Activity names in your watch have to be linked to propper activity names in pulsstory, therefore you need to match it here
enter first tile from the bottom it's called "DISCIPLINES RECOGNITION" and assign names according to the instruction

You may upload data files from various heart rate monitors – to do it, select "ADD - DATA FROM YOUR DEVICE" in the main menu or in a bubble on the calendar”

Drag the files from your heart rate monitor to the tile or select "CHOOSE FILES" to indicate files on your computer

On uploading files – you will see the result, to edit training data click „FILL IN DATA”
on selecting „FILL IN DATA”, a table with uploaded files will be displayed. You may change/complete data for sigle or all entries
Remember to save your data!

In settings, go to 4th tile "SYNCHRONIZE ACCOUNT WITH OTHER WEBSITES" and enter credentials you use to log in to the chosen portals and enable automatic synchronization

Go to the specific day in the calendar and click the symbol of training you want to edit.

Below the calendar, you will see a bar with training info.
Click "edit" icon on it

You will be redirected to training edit page, where you can change existing parameters, or add a new information

Open the page for editing „COMPETITION RESULTS”
you can do it in two ways:

Fill in competition details:

Fill in your competition results by assigning an activity performed during the event (for triathlon, duathlon/aquathlon disciplines, it can be more than one)
you can do it in two ways:
BY ASSIGNING ACTIVITIES ALREADY ADDED TO THE CALENDAR
make sure you have added activities before you add a competition to the calendar
then open the page to add competition results, under the main tile „COMPETITION DATA” a bar with activities from this day will appear
ADDING NEW ACTIVITIES
fill in the main tile with competition details „COMPETITION DATA”, and click the heart rate monitor or pencil icon on the bar below:
click a pencil icon (to add activity manually), a page will open, where you can enter activity data
when all the activity details were entered, you can add another one or go back to the page with competition data – to do it use the icons on the bar:
Because planning is essential,
in pulsstory you can plan which events you want to participate

Expand a section of a chosen club to get to know more on this club society

Click appropriate icon to join selected society

Click the icon to start the process of joining – different clubs have different ways of joining them. You may be asked for the password, or redirected to other website.
You will receive the confirmation of joining the club in the email.
We know, it's better to train with someone
with pulsstory you can invite your friends to join your training
You can do it in two ways:

All your friends will receive invitation for this trainig

You can mark a root of your training on the map
- it works both with new and old trainings

If you save the track, you can add it to your track library, so you can use it for other trainings
Let your friends activity be your training motivation!
Search and ivite pulsstory users to be your friends. You will be able to see their activities, competitions and goals they want to achieve

Search for someone you know and invite him to become your friend
In window that appears search for your friend and click on his avatar - you will see a cloud with three types of invitations:

Check trainings of your friends

If your friend accepted your invitation, his activities will start to appear in your "friends" tile
If you click on such activity you will be able to see all details of your friends trainings

You can check competition and goals of your friends

In "friends" tile right next to activities you can also view list of planned competition and index of goals your friends would like to achieve
You can work with the calendar in three different modes:
week, month or selected period (list mode)

a) basic view
b) view when one of the days was clicked

Month mode
To view training details of one of the days, just click on it - all avaliable data will appear under the calendar.

Selected period mode
Just like in the month mode - details of selected activity will be displayed under the list right after you click on a row.
You can always keep track of your body parameters thanks to the diary entries
so you will for example have your weight or VO2 MAX under control

Hoover mouse over selected day and, when plus icon will appear pick "diary entry" from the bubble

In main menu go to "check" and then "body metrics"

You can watch parameters changes in selected period of time
Become a fan for your sport friends. Let them know, that you keep your fingers crossed! And if you have a question or a notice to their training - you can add comment to their activities.

Cheering
In friends tile pick goals tab and click on a goal of your friend, you want to support
If on the other hand someone is cheering you, you can easily check which one of your friends supports you by hovering mouse coursor over the supporters count

Commenting
In friends tile you can see new activities, competition, or goals notifications
If you click one of this activities your will see comments count at the bottom of the popup window. When you click it you will see this comments and you will be able to join the discussion
